Electrical Thermal Imaging Surveys

Electrical infrared surveys involve capturing thermal images of electrical distribution equipment to find faults the naked eye cannot detect. This would include fuse boards, MCB Boards, switchboards, control panels, transformers, compressors, fans, pumps, unbalance, motors, eroded electrical connectors, fire prevention etc.

The images are gathered and then analysed to identify any thermal anomalies, we would then put together a report for our customer outlining problems which have the potential to cause equipment failure and damage to property.

We cater for all sizes of jobs; we are experienced thermal image engineers and as such can cover any business’ need. Our thermographic surveys are carried out by electrically qualified engineers who are certified to PCN Level 2 by the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT). We also have only the latest thermal image technology, cameras and software.

Vital generators will conduct any surveys safely and without causing any disruption to your business, enabling inspections to be completed safely and efficiently, without interruption to your business operations.

The benefits of thermal imaging detection are evident in reducing down time and because we can discover faults quickly we could reduce maintenance costs and save money on insurance.
